A Letter to the Dreamers

  • Hope Ranly

Dear the ones who dare,

The thing about dreams is that they are fickle—difficult to grasp. They slide against the bottom of your feet and through your toes like sand on the beach as the tide rushes in to pull it out to sea. They change and shift like the clouds in the sky, a swift comet passing in the night—there one second, gone the next. They stack as high as the clouds at the peak of Everest and stretch to the Moon. However, someone has summited Everest. Men have set foot on the Moon.
